This is a secure messaging program that allows two people to conduct a secure chat between the two parties. It uses Data Encryption Standard (DES), a block cipher encryption using a symmetric-key algorithm.
DES uses a private key to customize the transformation, so that decryption can only be performed by those who know the particular key used to encrypt the messages.
The messaging between the two parties is done directly between the two computers that conduct the chat, the one in the server role on one side and the client role on the other side.
The messages are encrypted in the Secret Messaging programs and all data traveling between the two parties remains encrypted and only is decrypted when reaching the Secret Messaging program on the other side of the connection.
